There are artists and there are artists. There are people who can draw, as I once heard a woman say, "anything". Actually anyone can be taught to draw simply by following a methodology that removes the prejudices our minds place in our eyes. What makes an artist a true creator is the ability to go beyond the vectors of space and time and produce something new. And artists have this ability in varying degrees. The path to becoming a Van Gogh, a DaVinci, a Michaelangelo, a Mary Cassatt, a Dali, a Mozart, a Beethoven, a Steinbeck, an Ibsen, an Einstein, an Irving Berlin, a Joan Baez or an Elton John lies along the stream of consciousness that continually strives to reproduce that illusive insight into the nature of things that stuns the senses and spurs the mind when faithfully reproduced.
I am an artist and a writer, an aware citizen of the world. It is difficult to support oneself as a writer and an artist. In order to do so one must reach the market. So, here I am market. I will comment on the state of the world from my point of view artistically and prosaically and hope to connect with someone in need of or perhaps just a desire for the wares I have to offer.
